Nancy Steinhauer Qualified for Provs & Nats
After months of hard work, dedication, and countless hours spent with Coach Natalia fine-tuning and perfecting her technique, Nancy stepped onto the platform at CANPL Centrals on August 15. She competed in the Women’s 76 kg M2 (50–59 years) Unequipped Bench Only division, putting all of her preparation and hard work to the test on meet day. She secured her qualification for both Provincials and Nationals on her first attempt and finished the day with a 7.5kg meet PR!

Alexandra Kuperman did her First Sprint Triathlon
On August 16th, Alexandra took on a Sprint Triathlon at Toronto Islands, completing a 750m swim, 20km bike, and 5km run in 1 hour 50 minutes! Despite dealing with a sore back and uncertainty about whether she would be able to complete the run, Alexandra pushed through and finished all three disciplines.
Paula Schwebel Ran a 5K Race
On August 22nd, Paula ran the PUMA Toronto Women’s 5K, making the decision to race the 5K instead of the 10K while managing a leg injury. Despite the pain, Paula pushed through and finished in 29:06 (5:49/km), earning 7th place in her age group, and raised around $750 for the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO).
